What are the steps and considerations for attaching the magnetic palm rest to adjust the negative tilt typing angle on PERIDUO-406A?

You can adjust the negative tilt typing angle by attaching the magnetic palm rest to PERIDUO-406A's bottom. Before attaching the palm rest, ensure you've positioned the magnetic rubber pad on PERIDUO-406A's bottom facing upwards. Afterward, secure the magnetic palm rest in place. Please see the image below.

Key functions of PERIDUO-406A not acting properly:

Unplug the PERIDUO-406A
Gently pry up the non-functional keys. You can use your nail or any flat instrument to get under the keys and pull up slightly on the edges
Use a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol to clean off any sticky areas. Be sure not to have so much alcohol on the swab that it drips
Insert the keys back into their original places. Gently press the keys down. It should snap back into place.
Check your keys. They should be unstuck now

PERIDUO-406A stopped working while typing, character and number keys don't respond, and random function keys activate during typing:

Please connect PERIDUO-406A with another computer to check if the problem still occurs.
Please make sure that PERIDUO-406A is connected properly to the computer (It is recommended to plug the device directly into the computer ports rather than an external hub or adapter).

Is there a method to activate volume buttons and similar functions of PERIDUO-406A using the Shift key in combination with the F1-F12 keys, rather than relying solely on the "fn" key or "fn lock"? I prefer not to use the "fn lock" function.

PERIDUO-406A is initially programmed to use the "Fn key" as the default for activating multimedia keys.

Is there a left-handed mouse version type equivalent to the PERIDUO-406A?

Is PERIDUO-406A multi-device enabled?

No, PERIDUO-406A is not multi-device enabled. However, we would like to introduce the PERIDUO-813, which is an ergonomic model that supports multiple devices. You can find more information about it in our shop at the following link: Link

Is there a mechanical version of PERIDUO-406A available?

Currently, the PERIDUO-406A is only available with a membrane keyboard. However, we are pleased to introduce the PERIBOARD-335 (Wired) and PERIBOARD-835 (Wireless), which are mechanical keyboards. You can find more information about these mechanical keyboard models on our website.

Is PERIDUO-406A compatible with smart TVs?

To determine compatibility with your smart TV, please check your TV's specifications to see if it supports HID (Human Interface Device) devices. You can also perform a test by connecting a standard USB keyboard or mouse to your TV to see if they function properly. If they work, then PERIDUO-406A should also be compatible with your TV.

Is this keyboard compatible with Mac computers?

PERIDUO-406A is primarily designed for Windows OS, you can still use it with Mac OS. However, please be aware that some functions and hotkeys may be limited, and there may be slight differences in the layout compared to Mac-specific keyboards.

Is this keyboard smaller than a standard laptop keyboard?

Yes, the PERIDUO-406A keyboard is smaller than a standard laptop keyboard. The standard laptop keyboard typically measures approximately 17 inches in width by 6 inches in depth, while the PERIDUO-406A keyboard measures approximately 13.82 inches in width by 8.94 inches in depth.

Do each of the components, including the keyboard, number pad, and mouse, of PERIDUO-406A have separate plugs?

Yes, for the wired version of PERIDUO, each component has its separate plug. Therefore, for PERIDUO-406A, it requires three USB ports.

How to add the language layout on my keyboard?

1. Open Settings: Click on the Start menu, then select the "Settings" gear icon. Alternatively, you can press Win + I on your keyboard to open Settings directly.
Navigate to Time & Language: In the Settings menu, click on “Time & language.”
2. Select Language & region: On the sidebar, click on “Language & region.” Here you'll see the languages currently installed.
3. Add a Language: If the language you would like to add is not already listed:
Click on “Add a language.”

4. Search for and select the language you want. then, click "Next" and then "Install" to add the language pack.

5. Configure Keyboard Layout: Once the language is added, click on the three dots (…) next to it under the “Preferred languages” section.
6. Select “Language options.” Then, Under “Keyboards,” click “Add a keyboard” and select the keyboard layout you prefer.

7. Switch Between Keyboard Layouts: You can switch between keyboard layouts by clicking on the language icon in the taskbar (near the clock) or by using the shortcut Win + Space to cycle through the available keyboard layouts.

PERIDUO-406A won’t type after computer restart, what shall I do?

1. Test on Another Computer: To identify the problem, try connecting the PERIDUO-406A to another computer. This step is crucial as it helps isolate the issue. If the keyboard works fine on another system or computer, the problem might be with your original computer's hardware or software configurations. However, if it doesn't work on any computer, the keyboard itself might be faulty.

2. Direct Connection to Computer Ports: Often, issues with USB devices can stem from unstable connections, especially when using USB hubs or extension cables. Disconnect the PERIDUO-406A from any USB hubs or extension cables. Connect it directly to one of your computer's USB ports. Preferably, use a USB port on the back of a desktop computer, as these ports are directly connected to the motherboard and usually provide a more stable connection than front-side ports or ports on laptops.

3. Check and Update Drivers: Remove any previously installed keyboard drivers, then restart your computer. This can resolve conflicts between the keyboard software and your system. For this process, go to device manager and check the driver in Keyboards

Select “Scan for hardware changes. This will allow your operating system to refresh the new hardware for plug and play.

After refreshing the hardware list, please select “Update driver’ to check the any updates.

Select the option “Search automatically for driver” check driver to update or reinstall for your operating system. After your operating system confirms to reinstall the driver, your mouse is confirmed that its driver is ready to operate.

How can I address issues like double letters on PERIDUO-406A keyboard?

How to clean a Key on your keyboard?

Unplug or turn off the keyboard.
Identify the key causing the issue (e.g., the 'Y' key), then gently pry up the key using a small, flat instrument (flat-head screwdriver) or your nail. Insert the tool or your nail under the edge of the keycap and carefully lift it up. Be gentle to avoid damaging the keycap or the switch.
Use the swab to clean any sticky areas on and around the key switch. Make sure to clean the underside of the keycap as well. If there is visible debris, use a dry cotton swab or compressed air to remove it before using the alcohol.
Reinsert the key back into its original place by gently pressing it down until it snaps back into place.
Check the keys to see if the issue is resolved.
