Will PERIBOARD-514 work with windows 10?

• PERIBOARD-514 is programmed to work with Windows 10. You don't have to install a driver since it is equipped with Plug & Play, so you only have to plug it into your device and it works.

PERIBOARD-514 won’t type after computer restart:

1. Test on another computer to confirm issue.
2. Directly connect device to computer ports.

PERIBOARD-514 Typing Multiple Letters:

• If PERIBOARD-514 is typing multiple letters per key press, this issue can often be resolved by adjusting some settings. Follow these steps:

1. Open the "Control Panel" and click on "Ease of Access Center."
2. Click on "Make Keyboard Easier to Use."
3. Check the option "Turn on Filter Keys" under "Make it easier to type" and then click "Apply."

• If the problem persists:

1. Go to "Keyboard Properties" in the "Control Panel."
2. Adjust the "Repeat rate" to a faster setting, then click "Apply" and "Ok."

• Yes, the multimedia keys of PERIBOARD-514 work only in combination with the Fn key.

Will PERIBOARD-514 be recognized and work if Windows 10 booted into safe mode?

• Yes, PERIBOARD-514 will be recognized and works with Windows 10 in safe mode.

Can PERIBOARD-514 be used with a smart tv?

• For the smart TV, you can only use PERIBOARD-514 if it supports the HID (Human Interface Device). You may do a simple test to plug any keyboard into the TV and see if it is working. If it is working, then our keyboard will also work too. If not, that means the tv doesn't support HID.

Is PERIBOARD-514 mac OS compatible?

• PERIBOARD-514 is built and compatible for windows system. PERIBOARD-514 could work with your Mac OS but with limited functions. PERIBOARD-514 can only work as a regular keyboard. 

Can PERIBOARD-215 be daisy-chained through a USB hub to connect a peripheral to PERIBOARD-215 and then to the computer?

• If the item has low power requirements, then it should work fine.

Can you disable Bluetooth of PERIBOARD-215 when using the current 'Wired with 4 Hubs' version?

• PERIBOARD-215 does not include Bluetooth functionality, while the Bluetooth feature is exclusively available with the wireless backlit model. PERIBOARD-615 offers the flexibility to switch between both Bluetooth and wired connections. With the Bluetooth option, you can pair up to two different IDs.

To use the F1 through F12 keys of PERIBOARD-215 does one need to simultaneously hold down the 'Fn' key?

• PERIBOARD-215 actually features an Fn lock, which means you do not have to hold down Fn while it's enabled.
• With the Fn lock on, the standard functions (F1-F12) will work, and with the Fn lock off, the alternate functions (volume, brightness, etc.) will work.

Is the “Alt Gr” key of PERIBOARD-215 also used as the context menu key?

• No, the Alt Gr key is used as an alternative Alt key or as the access key to the bottom-right symbols, such as the Euro symbol, with the US International Layout.

Which type of switches does PERIBOARD-514 have?

• PERIBOARD-514 is a membrane-type keyboard, not a mechanical keyboard.

1. Using a non-sharp stick to pull out the trackball through the bottom hole of the keyboard.
2. Take out the trackball, gently clean the trackball and sensor in side by a soft brush.
3. Put the trackball back.
4. Directly connect device to computer ports.
5. Test on another computer to confirm issue.

How to add the language layout on my keyboard?

1. Open Settings: Click on the Start menu, then select the "Settings" gear icon. Alternatively, you can press Win + I on your keyboard to open Settings directly.
Navigate to Time & Language: In the Settings menu, click on “Time & language.”
2. Select Language & region: On the sidebar, click on “Language & region.” Here you'll see the languages currently installed.
3. Add a Language: If the language you would like to add is not already listed:
Click on “Add a language.”

4. Search for and select the language you want. then, click "Next" and then "Install" to add the language pack.

5. Configure Keyboard Layout: Once the language is added, click on the three dots (…) next to it under the “Preferred languages” section.
6. Select “Language options.” Then, Under “Keyboards,” click “Add a keyboard” and select the keyboard layout you prefer.

7. Switch Between Keyboard Layouts: You can switch between keyboard layouts by clicking on the language icon in the taskbar (near the clock) or by using the shortcut Win + Space to cycle through the available keyboard layouts.

Keyboard won’t type after computer restart, what shall I do?

Disconnect the Keyboard from any USB hubs or extension cables. Connect it directly to one of your computer's USB ports. Preferably, use a USB port on the back of a desktop computer, as these ports are directly connected to the motherboard and usually provide a more stable connection than front-side ports or ports on laptops.

3. Check and Update Drivers: Remove any previously installed keyboard drivers, then restart your computer. This can resolve conflicts between the keyboard software and your system. For this process, go to device manager and check the driver in Keyboards

• Select “Scan for hardware changes. This will allow your operating system to refresh the new hardware for plug and play.

• After refreshing the hardware list, please select “Update driver’ to check the any updates.

• Select the option “Search automatically for driver” check driver to update or reinstall for your operating system. After your operating system confirms to reinstall the driver, your mouse is confirmed that its driver is ready to operate.
