What are the steps and considerations for attaching the magnetic palm rest to adjust the negative tilt typing angle on PERIDUO-606?

You can adjust the negative tilt typing angle by attaching the magnetic palm rest to PERIDUO-606's bottom. Before attaching the palm rest, ensure you've positioned the magnetic rubber pad on PERIDUO-606's bottom facing upwards. Afterward, secure the magnetic palm rest in place. Please see the image below.

Key functions of PERIDUO-606 not acting properly:

1. Unplug the PERIDUO-606

2. Gently pry up the non-functional keys. You can use your nail or any flat instrument to get under the keys and pull up slightly on the edges

3. Use a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol to clean off any sticky areas. Be sure not to have so much alcohol on the swab that it drips

4. Insert the keys back into their original places. Gently press the keys down. It should snap back into place.

5. Check your keys. They should be unstuck now

How to Pair Keyboard and Mouse to a Replacement Receiver

PERIDUO-606 stopped working while typing, character and number keys don't respond, and random function keys activate during typing:

1. Please connect PERIDUO-606 with another computer to check if the problem still occurs.

2. Please make sure that PERIDUO-606 is connected properly to the computer (It is recommended to plug the device directly into the computer ports rather than an external hub or adapter).

Is PERIDUO-606 compatible with Windows 11?

Yes. PERIDUO-606 is compatible with Windows 11

Could you please specify the mouse of PERIDUO-606, I am interested in purchasing separately?

The mouse model you are looking for is the "Perixx PERIMICE-719 - Wireless Ergonomic Vertical Mouse."

Is there a method to activate volume buttons and similar functions of PERIDUO-606 using the Shift key in combination with the F1-F12 keys, rather than relying solely on the "fn" key or "fn lock"? I prefer not to use the "fn lock" function.

PERIDUO-606 is initially programmed to use the "Fn key" as the default for activating multimedia keys.

Is there a left-handed mouse version type equivalent to the PERIDUO-606?

Unfortunately, we do not offer a left-handed version of the PERIDUO-set. However, Perixx does offer a left-handed version of the mouse, and you can purchase the mouse and keyboard separately. Please visit our shop at the following link for more information: Link

Is PERIDUO-606 multi-device enabled?

No, PERIDUO-606 is not multi-device enabled. However, we would like to introduce the PERIDUO-813, which is an ergonomic model that supports multiple devices. You can find more information about it in our shop at the following link: Link

Is there a mechanical version of PERIDUO-606 available?

Currently, the PERIDUO-606 is only available with a membrane keyboard. However, we are pleased to introduce the PERIBOARD-335 (Wired) and PERIBOARD-835 (Wireless), which are mechanical keyboards. You can find more information about these mechanical keyboard models on our website.

Is PERIDUO-606 compatible with smart TVs?

To determine compatibility with your smart TV, please check your TV's specifications to see if it supports HID (Human Interface Device) devices. You can also perform a test by connecting a standard USB keyboard or mouse to your TV to see if they function properly. If they work, then PERIDUO-606 should also be compatible with your TV.

Is this keyboard compatible with Mac computers?

PERIDUO-606 is primarily designed for Windows OS, you can still use it with Mac OS. However, please be aware that some functions and hotkeys may be limited, and there may be slight differences in the layout compared to Mac-specific keyboards.

Is this keyboard smaller than a standard laptop keyboard?

Yes, the PERIDUO-606 keyboard is smaller than a standard laptop keyboard. The standard laptop keyboard typically measures approximately 17 inches in width by 6 inches in depth, while the PERIDUO-606 keyboard measures approximately 13.82 inches in width by 8.94 inches in depth.

The following steps initiate a connection process of the PERIDUO-606 to your PC
1. Turn ON the PC

2. Insert Batteries

3. Plug the USB Receiver into a free USB Port

4. The device will be automatically detected by the PC, and it should be ready to work

5. If the device is still not working, please repeat the process from step 1

6. If the device is still not working, try to reboot the connection by unplugging your receiver from port and plug it back in again. Then, press and hold the connect button for 5 seconds.

How can I address issues like double letters on PERIDUO-606 keyboard?

To address issues like double letters on your keyboard, you can try the following steps:

Open Settings: Click on the Start menu, then select the "Settings" gear icon. Alternatively, you can press Win + I on your keyboard to open Settings directly.
Navigate to Ease of Access: In the Settings menu, click on “Ease of Access.”
Scroll down the left side to find the "Keyboard" from "Interaction" section in "Ease of Access."
Please turn on "Ignore brief or repeated keystrokes and change keyboard repeat rates" on "Use Filter Keys" section in Keyboard.

Test the keyboard to see if the issue is resolved. If not, you can try cleaning the keys.

How to add the language layout on my keyboard?

1. Open Settings: Click on the Start menu, then select the "Settings" gear icon. Alternatively, you can press Win + I on your keyboard to open Settings directly.
Navigate to Time & Language: In the Settings menu, click on “Time & language.”
2. Select Language & region: On the sidebar, click on “Language & region.” Here you'll see the languages currently installed.
3. Add a Language: If the language you would like to add is not already listed:
Click on “Add a language.”

4. Search for and select the language you want. then, click "Next" and then "Install" to add the language pack.

5. Configure Keyboard Layout: Once the language is added, click on the three dots (…) next to it under the “Preferred languages” section.
6. Select “Language options.” Then, Under “Keyboards,” click “Add a keyboard” and select the keyboard layout you prefer.

7. Switch Between Keyboard Layouts: You can switch between keyboard layouts by clicking on the language icon in the taskbar (near the clock) or by using the shortcut Win + Space to cycle through the available keyboard layouts.

PERIDUO-606 won’t type after computer restart, what shall I do?

1. Check Battery: PERIDUO-606 relies on batteries for power. An insufficient battery charge can lead to it not functioning correctly. To check the battery, ensure the batteries are inserted correctly, matching the positive and negative ends with the markings inside the battery compartment. If the batteries are rechargeable, charge them fully before use. If they are disposable, try replacing them with fresh ones to see if this resolves the issue. Some keyboards have battery indicators or software that shows the current battery level. Check these to ensure the batteries are adequately charged.

2. Test on Another Computer: To identify the problem, try connecting the PERIDUO-606 to another computer. This step is crucial as it helps isolate the issue. If the keyboard works fine on another system or computer, the problem might be with your original computer's hardware or software configurations. However, if it doesn't work on any computer, the keyboard itself might be faulty.

3. Direct Connection to Computer Ports: Often, issues with USB devices can stem from unstable connections, especially when using USB hubs or extension cables. Disconnect the PERIDUO-606 from any USB hubs or extension cables. Connect it directly to one of your computer's USB ports. Preferably, use a USB port on the back of a desktop computer, as these ports are directly connected to the motherboard and usually provide a more stable connection than front-side ports or ports on laptops.

4. Check and Update Drivers: Remove any previously installed keyboard drivers, then restart your computer. This can resolve conflicts between the keyboard software and your system. For this process, go to device manager and check the driver in Keyboards

Select “Scan for hardware changes. This will allow your operating system to refresh the new hardware for plug and play.

After refreshing the hardware list, please select “Update driver’ to check the any updates.

Select the option “Search automatically for driver” check driver to update or reinstall for your operating system. After your operating system confirms to reinstall the driver, your mouse is confirmed that its driver is ready to operate.

5. Contact Customer Support: If, after following all the above steps, your PERIDUO-606 still doesn't work, it's time to seek further assistance. Reach out to customer support for personalized troubleshooting and potential repair or replacement options. Visit the official website and navigate to the support section to find contact information or a support request form. Provide a detailed description of the issue and the steps you've already taken to try to resolve it.

How to clean a Key on the keyboard?

Unplug or turn off the keyboard.
Identify the key causing the issue (e.g., the 'Y' key), then gently pry up the key using a small, flat instrument (flat-head screwdriver) or your nail. Insert the tool or your nail under the edge of the keycap and carefully lift it up. Be gentle to avoid damaging the keycap or the switch.
Use the swab to clean any sticky areas on and around the key switch. Make sure to clean the underside of the keycap as well. If there is visible debris, use a dry cotton swab or compressed air to remove it before using the alcohol.
Reinsert the key back into its original place by gently pressing it down until it snaps back into place.
Check the keys to see if the issue is resolved.

What shall I do if the PERIDUO-606 Mouse is scrolling involuntarily?

1. check the battery: As product is wireless, like all battery-operated devices, their performance hinges on the power available from their batteries. To ensure your wireless mouse continues to operate at its best, you need to check and change or charge appropriately and timely.

2. Test on Another Computer: Start by connecting the mouse to a different computer. If the issue recurs, the mouse may be defective. 3. Ensure a Direct Connection: Verify that the mouse is directly connected to one of the computer's USB ports rather than through an extension hub or dock. Using extension hubs can lead to connectivity issues which might cause erratic behavior such as involuntary scrolling.

Why is my mouse cursor behaving erratically, and how can I fix it?

5. Restart and Reconnect: Sometimes, simply restarting your computer can resolve underlying issues causing erratic mouse behavior. After restarting, disconnect the mouse and then reconnect it. Try using a different USB port, especially if you're using a USB mouse, to rule out port-related issues.

6. Update or Reinstall Mouse Drivers: Outdated or corrupted mouse drivers can cause erratic cursor movements. Check the manufacturer's website for the latest driver software for your mouse and update accordingly. If issues persist, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the mouse drivers.

7. Check for Interference (for Wireless Mice): Wireless mice can experience interference from other wireless devices. Ensure there are no strong wireless signals near your mouse or USB receiver. Changing the USB port for the receiver can sometimes help, as can moving other wireless devices further away.

8. Inspect the Mouse for Physical Damage: Look for signs of wear or damage, such as a frayed cable, dirt or debris blocking the sensor, or damaged buttons. Cleaning the mouse, particularly around the sensor, using a soft, dry cloth can sometimes resolve issues.

9. Try Another Mouse: If possible, use a different mouse with your computer. If the problem persists with a new mouse, the issue might be with your computer. If the new mouse works fine, your original mouse may be defective.
